Artists

Christie Hendersen works primarily as a pen and ink artist based in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Specializing in detailed renderings of historic homes, animals, plants, and natural landscapes, Christie is driven by the preservation of old architecture and love of the natural world. She is a self-taught artist, drawn to projects requiring fine motor skills and attention to detail. These include dry point etching, calligraphy, and complex hand knitting. Her award-winning work has appeared in publications for the Willamette University Alumni Association in Salem and projects for The Oregon Gardens in Silverton. Her works are held in private collections across the U. S. and Great Britain. She is currently exploring her hand at dry point etching and printing from her home studio in Dallas, Oregon.
