Rich Bergeman Artist Statement:
These photographs were made over the last two years in Oregon's High Desert, an arid expanse of sagebrush, playas and rimrock, interrupted here and there by bursts of lushness where water can be found. It's territory that's hard for some to appreciate, and even harder to capture in a photograph, but by using infrared-sensitive cameras, I'm able to reveal the drama within the landscape's wide horizons and immense skies.
