Watercolor artist John DeVoe has exhibited his work in galleries and juried competitions throughout the pacific northwest and nationally. John states:
" I’ve always been drawn to art and have been fortunate to have amazing teachers early on who fostered a love of the creative process. I choose to work in watercolor as I find it a challenging yet versatile and expressive medium. My subjects are typically composed of natural and man-made elements in which I try and show the vibrancy and drama in everyday subjects."
Born and raised in the Rogue Valley, John attended Southern Oregon University and studied with Robert Alston and James Doerter as well as his father Robert C. DeVoe. He currently lives in Monmouth Oregon with his wife Cinda and their two dogs.
