   Wandering the wild places of the west for 40 years is the foundation of my work.  That, and a need to embellish just about every piece of paper I come in contact with; a fascination with the space "in-between" objects and not having to color within the lines.  Oh yes, and a love affair with pencils that pre-dates 1st grade!
